Recommend crimping the case mouth into the front cannelure groove. *The CIP maximum COAL is 3.468” for this cartridge. The Barnes 535-gr Banded Solid (#51053) is designed specifically for this cartridge and will fit magazines designed to CIP specs. *Barnes’ 570-grain TSX and 570-grain Banded Solid bullets are designed for the .500 NE. Their cannelure positions require a COAL longer than CIP specs for the .500 Jeffery. *Check your magazine length, and try feeding with a dummy round before loading 570-grain bullets to the listed COAL.
Barrel: 26" with 1:20" twist.
